Somewhat rare and becoming more and more sought after, the 1980 to 1984 Scimitars were certainly special boats. Designed during the height of the T-top craze for cars, the Scimitars incorporated many special car features including: a pair of removable tinted T-tops, an automotive type safety glass (yes, glass) wrap around windshield with electric windshield wiper, front buckets seats with 4 -way power adjustable helm seat and swivel seats to port, overhead accesory switch control with lights, cockpit courtesy lights, digital electric clock, am-fm radio with tape . Built in California these boats seem particularly to find in the northeastern United States and and nearly impossible to find overseas. Stay tuned as I gather more information on the fascinating boats.
