CVX 20 Windshield Brackets

Postby novosadpeter » Mon Feb 01, 2010 7:35 pm

Would anyone know where I could get a set of Windshield brackets for my CVX 20 ? When I bought the boat they were missing. I have a new windshield on order and would like to finish off the look with the brackets.

Have you check out this thread?

I'm making aluminum CVX bow caps and windshield frames!

It may be a while before he gets an opportunity to make more though, if he doesn't have any left.

[edit] I see now that you had already posted there. The brackets are hard to find. You might try emailing or sending a message to user rayar3 directly.

I could attempt to mold them and make them of fiberglass.... ???

Not that this would be a great replacement, but would at least cosmetically work temporarily???
Not sure exactly how 'structural' they really are....

What would I use to mold?

This is something I'd like to learn to do anyway.... I'd like to make a new dash insert for my Intimidator... not exactly sure what the best way is to go about it....

Layered, mold and lay into the mold? hmmmm.... what materials.... ??? Maybe I should google it :)
