I am looking at the weekend of June 5th/6th.......

I have a family reunion in Dallas the following weekend and the weekend after that I am on business travel, so the first weekend works best for me for PK.

The State Park is awesome but you need reservations and they fill up early. My wife is not a "camper" so I have to find a cabin. The State Park has a few cabins but they are a good hike from the water and they book up early. I am looking into Fox Hollow which is across the lake from the State Park and are decent. There are cabins closer to the Cliffs and Hell's Gate as well.

If I can get a good headcount going then there might be a chance of getting several cabins/rooms at Fox Hollow at a decent rate.

the 5th/6th will not work for me after all...

my daughter is scheduled to take her SAT exams for college on the 5th and there is no way I could get up there until Sunday afternooon.

since I have had little feedback on this, I suggest we look at a date in early August.

thoughts? Comments?

I would be interested in any weekend not a holiday weekend. We always go up to Texoma for the big summer holiday weekends.

Just got my first glastron this weekend, 88 cvx 23, looks to be the same setup as Raider's.
