its going to brought back to original colors ,bronze metal flake . im curious to whats under the blue paint . i can see where they filled the holes for the stern light and the railing around the sun deck , but i only saw one small spot of crazing that came through the paint , so im hopeful there wont be as much body work as i had to do on my GT160 . I'm all for keeping the original colors but a deep blue would look killer on the decks of these boats.

If I found a CV-21 there is exactly ONE way I'd proceed restoration-wise, and one only. Hell I'll probably go this way with my CV-16!!!

How cool would a Big Block Chevy boat be with Zoomies and a 8-71 Roots blower?

Hey Andy. Stick to the script: "Are you sure that's your brother in law Sheriff?" Heh heh heh

Yo fuzz. You got something against a big block Olds?

Nope. Just think the symmetrical exhaust ports on the BBC, SBF, BBF & Hemi look better than the Olds & SBC if your going to stick Zoomies on them. I prefer the rear mounted distributors too. Though if I had the choice of Big blocks in a boat I would rather have a Chevy style block. I'm familiar with a pair of 550HP 496ci BBC's an ex-uncle had in his Fountain.

Otherwise nothing wrong with the Olds motor so long as it wasn't a diesel from the very early 80's. My bro-in-law built a nice healthy 455 .060 over and threw it into a '79 T/A.
