Hello, Great to see an illinois forum. I am from Tinley Park here and have a 74 V-179 Starflight. I just got it a couple of weeks ago. I will get some more pics when get a chance. The name was given by the PO. I have already removed it. Can anyone photoshop it to eliminate the name?

Formerly of Champaign. Had the GT all around the central part of the state. Clinton Lake was a favorite, followed by Shelbyville and the Illinois River. Also had it in at the Chain of Lakes, Bangs Lake and another one up there near the Chain that I forget.

Downstate Illinois is now represented, coming to you from Rushville, IL. My brother just bought a 1969 Glastron Vagabond for $450. It's basically sound but needs new upholstery, a good cleaning and some engine work. We're working on getting the motor (3.0 liter inboard) unseized so we can figure out what has to be done with it. Pictures coming soon along with what I can only assume will be a ton of requests for resources for parts and lots of advice!

central Illinois have a gt 160 i am going to rebuild it runs but the guy i got it from basically got it drivable so im gonna rebuild it.
